CGI begins the process by identifying the unique priorities, challenges, and opportunities that characterize your company’s search assignment. - Fees: CGI’s philosophy on search fees is that they should be based on the resources necessary to effectively complete the search. We prefer a flat fee structure with expenses defined and agreed upon prior to execution of the search assignments. This fair approach allows our clients to easily forecast the search fee. Furthermore, this keeps CGI completely objective, removing financial benefits that come from a variable, percentage-based fee structure. Prior to executing a search, we review the challenges of the search assignment with our client and the resources that will be necessary to complete the search to mutually define an acceptable search fee.
- Performance Guarantees: CGI realizes the investment our clients are making with us when they engage us in a search assignment. Our clients benefit from a performance based fee payment structure and a one (1) year guarantee on the candidate we place with them on the search.

We have an experienced and dedicated research staff and our clients have confidence that the appropriate resources are being allocated to their search to get the job done efficiently.
- Milestones and checkpoints: We mutually agree upon beneficial measures of progress designed to ensure success throughout the search assignment. This is supported by regular calls and progress reports throughout the search assignment.
- Mutual Accountability: CGI and the client mutually assume accountability for specific and measurable actions during the search assignment. Effective searches require a clear execution plan and strong collaboration between the company and search partner.
