From the initial telephone conversation

  • Our goal is to identify the opening, briefly discuss with the hiring authority the position requirements, and schedule a visit for the Account Executive along with a member of our Research team to meet with the hiring authority at the client company site.

At our client meeting

  • Our objective is to fully understand the position. We will work with the hiring authority to create a company / position profile to accurately promote the company and position to candidates.
    • Why the position is open and how soon the position must be filled
    • Identify candidate qualifications – experience, skills, responsibilities, educational requirements, etc…
    • Identify the proper cultural fit for the client’s need – tour the facility, ask about the equipment and systems the person will be working with, interview the employer about his background, ask questions about the current personnel of the company, management practices, etc…
    • Identify target industries - additions and subtractions, off limit companies
    • Identify organizational structure
    • Understand compensation, benefits, and performance expectations
  • We will work with the hiring authority to establish a search and interview timeline
    • Identify the interview and hiring process Discuss our process of presenting a slate of the top candidates
    • Schedule day and time to review slate of candidates
    • Schedule day and time for 1st interviews
  • We will discuss our agency fee agreement, payment terms, and guarantees we offer.
  • We will discuss our team approach in conducting a successful search utilizing our Research team, Account Executive, and additional support staff.
  • We will send (fax / email / overnight) a formal partnership letter and company / position profile for approval before the search officially begins.

The candidate search begins

  • Our Account Executive will work with our Research team to create a recruiting attack plan utilizing all of our resources to meet the client timeline.
  • We will conduct initial phone interviews with candidates to review their education & experience and then invite the top candidates in to our offices for a formal interview.
  • We will conduct face to face interviews to identify the top candidates based on personality, work experience, and skills for positions.
  • After meeting with a candidate we will complete a candidate evaluation form to present top candidates to the hiring authority.
  • We will follow up with both the hiring contact and the candidates after initial interviews, share feedback, and schedule selected candidates for 2nd interviews and any additional interviews throughout the process.

Presentation of candidates

  • The Account Executive and/or a Research Team Member will present the slate of top candidates and candidate evaluation reports (background summaries) either by phone or in a face to face meeting.
  • We will schedule top candidates for client interviews either at our offices or the client’s site.
  • We will conduct reference checks on each candidate. If asked by the client, we will provide a written reference summary along with the names and contact information of those people contacted for the reference checks.
  • After meeting with a candidate we will complete a candidate evaluation form to present top candidates to the hiring authority.
  • We will work closely with the hiring authority to extend an offer of employment and secure and start date with the candidate.

Follow up

  • We will assist with arranging pre-employment physicals, drug screening , and orientation times.
  • We will follow up with a phone call to both the employer and the candidate, post start date, to assure that the transition has occurred comfortably and smoothly on both ends.
