They rehire us because of the sincere pleasure they have working with our team and value which exceeds their investment of capital and time with us.

If we are doing our jobs right, we should never gain business because we gave the best sales pitch or dreamt up the latest and greatest marketing materials and websites. Clients should be calling us back eager to benefit from another search engagement and the enjoyment we share in the process of working together. Potential clients should be calling us because of a referral from another very satisfied client. I am happy to say that this is exactly what is happening in our business and we intend to stay on this path.

Having over fourteen years experience as a search consultant and over ten years as a search business owner, I think I have seen every angle by search firms (including ours) to showcase how they are the best, exceed expectations, etc., etc., etc. After many years of following suit, I finally had that “ah ha” moment. The fact is that we (The Carmon Group) aren’t always going to be a good fit for a given client, nor is every business or search going to be a good fit for us. Once I had this epiphany, life and business became much simpler, successful and enjoyable for our team and our select clients.
